A collection of projects and prototypes which highlight my skillset

District 32

03.2024 - Present

District 32 is a third-person squad-shooter currently in development by Reboot Interactive.

My role on this project consisted of UI design, project management, game and system design, and gameplay programming.

One of my main goals when starting this project were to create an interface that felt truly alive; something that the user could almost reach out and touch. To achieve this, I created a diegetic interface pipeline that allowed me to design and iterate on various elements for the project. This can best be seen in the spinal health meter and the holographic mini map.

Some of the challenges I faced working on this project were designing and prototyping several diegetic interfaces, such as the holomap, and health system. This forced me to combine my design skills with my blueprint knowledge to create these functional interfaces. This project also pushed my blueprint knowledge to new heights, as I explored several concepts previously unknown to me.

Memecoin Valley

07.2024 - 11.2024

Meme-Coin Valley is a web3 game project currently in development under purrLabs.

My role on this project was to create wireframes that detail and visualize the user journey, as well as offering my insights on how to improve user retention, engagement, and immersion.

When starting this project the main goal was to rapidly design and iterate up a potential user journey and series of wireframes that fit the established themes and styles.

Some of the challenges I faced while working on this project were coming up with a cartoonish style that was a departure from most of the interfaces I have made in the past. Working on a project that was still in the early stages of design meant that everything was subject to change, and new features and mechanics were coming and going rapidly, as such, elements had to be created and removed just as rapidly.

Project ARgento

10.2022 - 05.2023

Project Argento was a concept for a VR/AR mall/shopping solution developed by Oratir.

My role on this project was to create wireframes that detail and visualize the user journey, as well as offering my insights on how to improve user retention, engagement, and immersion.

When starting this project the main goal was to come up with a proof of concept that the company could use at funding meetings to show potential investors our idea in a way they could touch and interact with.

Some of the challenges I faced while working on this project were finding a way to blend the typical online storefront with web3 in a seamless way that would help encourage adoption of NFT’s, and help current supporters of the trend manage their collection easily.

Original Gamer Life (OGL)

05.2022 - 10.2022

Project Argento was a metaverse concept which aimed to create a virtual community, (similar to Sims) developed by Oratir.

My role on this project was to create wireframes that detail and visualize the user journey, offer my insights on how to improve user retention, engagement, and immersion, implementing approved UI concepts, and assisting gameplay engineers with any issues that came up.
